Obituary of Michael Herbert Ault

Michael H. Ault, 75, Armagh Passed away January 12, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.  Born October 19, 1947, in Johnstown the son of late C. Herbert and Dorothy M. (Allison) Ault.  Also preceded in death by son Timothy A. Ault, and sisters Yvonne Tisa and Louise Little.

Survived by wife Jill (Garvin) Ault; daughter Kayla Phillips and husband Sean, Cramer; grandchildren Meranda Resides and husband Ian, Monroeville; and Brooke Ault and Paul Nathaniel, Carnegie; and Cole Phillips, Cramer; great-granddaughter Nora Resides; brother Tim Ault, Armagh; daughter-in-law Deneen (Jones) Ault, Johnstown; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mike was a retired coal miner and truck driver.  He was a member of Acacia Lodge #355 F&AM, Coudersport Consistory, Altoona Jaffa Shrine, Jaffa Shrine Road Runners, Jaffa Shrine Lil Vettes, UMWA, Armagh United Methodist Church, and the local coffee klatch.  Life-time member of Blairsville Elks Lodge 406.  Former member, and past chief of Armagh & E. Wheatfield Twp. Vol. Fire Co.  Mike is the mayor of Armagh Boro.  He enjoys hunting, truck pulls and spending time with family, especially his grandson.

Friends received 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Sunday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 am Monday.  Pastor Jim Pardee officiating.  Masonic service 7 pm Sunday at the funeral home.  Interment Armagh Cemetery.
