Obituary of Ralph G. Goodlin

Ralph G. Goodlin, 87, Seward, went to be with the Lord November 29, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Ralph was born February 13, 1936, son of the late Royden and Velma (Huey) Goodlin.

Survived by loving wife Laura R. (Bartholomew) Goodlin; children Keith Goodlin and wife Brenda; Kelly Hicks and husband Bob, all of New Florence.  Grandchildren Bryan Goodlin and wife Lorea; Joshua Goodlin; Casey Hicks and wife Michelle; Toby Hicks and wife Julia.  Great-grandchildren Ashton, Aidan, and Katieri Goodlin; Cayden, Owen, and Theodore Hicks.  Also survived by brother David Goodlin and wife Pat, Vermont; sisters-in-law Diane (Bob) Joseph, Florida; Martha Bartholomew, Armagh; Laura J. Goodlin, Armagh; brother-in-law Glenn Becker and wife Mary Kay, Armagh; step-brothers Don Becker and wife Becky, Indiana; Ken Becker and wife Jane, New Jersey, Bob Darrah, New Jersey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Also preceded in death by brother Donald Goodlin; sisters Elinor Steele and Ruth Becker; mother-in-law and father-in-law Cora and Blair Bartholomew; step-mother Sara Jane Becker Goodlin; step-sister Barbara “Kay” Darrah; and great-grandson Michael Norris. 

Ralph was a member of the Valley Grace Brethren Church, Armagh, where he enjoyed singing in the choir.  His lifelong passion was being outdoors, hunting and fishing.   

Visitation will be held 1 pm Saturday till time of service 5 pm Saturday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh.  Reverend Terry Reese officiating, private interment Armagh Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made in Ralph’s name to Valley Grace Brethren Church, 11815 Route 56 Hwy. E, Armagh, PA 15920
