Obituary of Emilie Lorraine Marino

Emilie Lorraine (Marabito) Marino, 88, Seward, passed away February 1, 2024, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born January 22, 1936, in Robindale the daughter of the late Paul Marabito and Lucille (Ooghe) Marabito Schroding.  Also preceded in death by sisters Mary “Sis” Kruk, Bernice Zamba, Jean Davis, and infant sister Frances.

 

Survived by loving husband George with whom she celebrated their 70th. anniversary on January 30, 2024.  Also survived by daughters Monica Marino, and Melissa Marino (Jason Redilla).  Grandchildren Mark Madeley (Jennifer Rodfong), Suzette (Schaun) Mack, Erin Lorrane Gray, and Shannon Gray.  Great-grandchildren Brock and Elijah Mack, Alistair, and Sebastian Madeley.  Brother Paul Marabito; brother-in-law Don Marino, sister-in-law Nancy Marino, along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

 

Emilie completely and fiercely loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She was always going to sporting events, birthdays, holidays, and anything they were interested in.  She had a steady supply of love and patience for them all.  Emilie enjoyed their times with her family and gave every bit of herself to her husband and family.  She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

 

Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, where she was the house keeper for many years. 

 

Friends received 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Monday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh and 9 am till time of Mass at 10 am Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Bridge St., Seward.  Interment Armagh Cemetery.
